Mellone's Cachet Catalogs

Michael A. Mellone (1945 - 2018)

These publications are made available under the auspices of the American First Day Cover Society (AFDCS) with the permission of the heirs of Michael A. Mellone, a giant in the field of FDC publishing, to whom we all owe an enormous debt of gratitude.

Michael A. Mellone

The AFDCS awarded Mellone an Honorary Life Membership in 2005, for his long-time work as bourse chair of many AFDCS conventions and Americover shows, and his cachet catalogs.

Mellone was inducted into APS Writers Unit #30 in 2019 for his dedication and creation of these catalogs.

"Mike was not only a major influence on first-day cover collecting but a really nice guy. I enjoyed every moment of the time I spent with him at stamp shows, both those of the American First Day Cover Society and other shows he produced. To his family: rest assured, the name "Mike Mellone" will be remembered for eternity in FDC collecting."

Review & Approve
      • They’ll show you a preview or test page if needed. Confirm before printing the full batch.
Costs
  • Estimated B&W print is $0.11 - $0.25 depending on the services.
