We are the world’s only non-profit organization for FDC collectors. Membership starts as low as $24 a year, and includes our bimonthly journal and access to special online benefits. We advocate for and promote FDC collecting, sponsor exhibiting awards, a cachetmaking contest and another for articles on FDCs, and hold auctions of donated FDCs, many of which can’t be found anywhere else.

The Annual AFDCS Convention
Americover 2026 will be held August 7-9 at the BWI Marriott, midway between Baltimore and Washington, in conjunction with BALPEX 2026. See an exhibit of rare and unusual first day covers, top FDC dealers, and meetings and seminars of particular interest to FDC collectors. And admission is free.
