Norman Walker Mentoring Program
| The AFDCS Mentoring Program is
named for Life Member Norman Walker, who passed away in 2002. Norm, who
joined the Society in the 1950s, was a mentor to most of the prominent
collectors, researchers and writers who have been active in the AFDCS
over the years. He was devoted to the AFDCS and mindful of giving as much
back to the Society as he had received from all his years of
membership. Norm received the Society's Distinguished Service Award in
1999. |
The following AFDCSers have all agreed to make themselves available to any newcomer in the AFDCS, or any old timer who wants to expand their horizons. Mentors are listed by FDC specialty. If you want to be added to this list of AFDCS Mentors, or if you don't get an answer to your inquiry, please contact Monte Eiserman; her e-mail address is monte80@sbcglobal.net. If you want to learn more about something you don't see below, she will try to find someone for you!
Please include a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) when you write via snail mail to any mentor.
