AMERICOVER is a social gathering of fellow first day cover collectors from around the country. AMERICOVER is the American First Day Cover Society's annual convention for its thousands of members. It is 3 days long and is held just once a year, and each year it is in a different city. Fellow beginning, as well as advanced first day cover collectors, fill the host hotel to meet, learn, and buy first day covers from national dealers.

Attend AMERICOVER, a 3-day weekend event, which is held usually in July or August each year. You will learn about FDC collecting first hand and share our special interests. Programs, seminars, ceremonies, auctions, meetings, exhibits, stamp and cover dealers, social events, fun, and excitement are held from 10 am in the morning to midnight each day. These exciting functions are all very much a part of AMERICOVER.

AMERICOVER brings together collectors from many fields and many parts of the world to share collecting specialties, ideas, friendship, and to establish networks of common interests. You will meet fellow first day cover enthusiasts who share the same interest as you do and look forward to seeing each other year after year.

Dealers: If you wish to participate in a future AMERICOVER convention, please contact the Bourse chairman, Michael Mellone at E-mail:mike@4-collectors.com or call 908-479-4614.

AMERICOVER 2008 is scheduled for August 22-24, 2008 in Falls Church, VA.

More details will be posted when available.
