• Results of the re-vote for election of the AFDCS Treasurer have been announced. The Secretary reports the following election result:
  Elliot Fischer 12 votes, Foster Miller 7 votes, 1 abstention.

December 3, 2003

• Results of the election for the AFDCS Executive Committee have been announced. The Secretary reports the following election results:

* There being a tie vote for the treasurer position, a deadlock is declared that must be resolved. The vote must be retaken until the tie is resolved by voting. If still not resolved, the voting will continue until the deadlock is broken.

October 28, 2003

• The American First Day Cover Society has begun a membership recruiting contest to celebrate the society's 50th anniversary in 2005. Every member who recruits fifty new AFDCS members between August 1, 2003 and May 1, 2005 will win a trip to the anniversary party at Americover 2005. The society will pay for suitable transportation to Americover 2005 for the recruiters who will be the guest of the society at the convention hotel. Click here for more details.

• The election results for the five Board of Directors postions have been posted. The five winning candidates will serve three-year terms on the Board of Directors beginning January 1, 2004 and ending December 31, 2006.
